so yesterday at i went out with samuel the pretty boy with the many piercings and tattoos, for the first time. we are from two different worlds. but it didn't really matter :)
we had mad jacks for lunch then i brought him across the road to island creamery heehee! burnt caramel, teh tarik, reversO, a bit of nutella, and cookies and cream and i was satisfied for the day. i am, afterall, still on a diet.

stayed there listening to music, talking, eating, trying to study (i gave up eventually) and all... then we left for fareast to meet his friend christine! i didn stay long cos i had to rush back to cck.

i met funny at cck then we proceeded to my house! she gave me tuition !! :) :) quite productive i must say! i can finally complete the square !!! hooray! hallelujah !!
well i am quite proud of myself cos i think i was rather serious and i settled in BEFORE she had to leave and at the end of the day i got the hang of the concepts :D
math can be quite a fun and enjoyable thing to do if you know it well. like, the feeling i got upon completing each question is akin to me ... getting a lollipop.

didn't go to school today. trained down to commonwealth (where i saw cynthia choo were you late?) then i took 147 to my grandmother's. then i slept till near 12, had lunch, then went to the clinic. umz, i have a migraine problem so now i have many many many pills prescribed grrrrrr
i prefer the syrup kind cos it has taste but they say i'm too old for it now

oh and just today, only today, did i realise that boonlay is no longer the end (or the start) of the greeeeen line! there are new additions like pioneer and joo koon (which sounds like and reminds me of joonghan haha!) !!!
okayi i know i'm rather lagggg and stuff.
and do you know that new trains are like, way cool? i stood in one the other day on my way home with lois. they have like, LED lights on the train station map that shows where exactly/which stop we were at.

thursday was so blissful i tell you !! when i went to talk to ms loo she passed trik and i an MC postcard each (kristal shutup i know you got poster)! then in the evening when i went for club trg, i met her (MC) !! hahaha i was like the happiest kid there at KNC because she hit me on my arm. the prev sentence sounds weird.
anyw, i am reallyyyyy looking forward to club trgs nowadays because NSL teams train at that exact same time too! my court was just opp MC's that day. well okayi enough of MC i'm already hyperventilating and if i wanted i could rant on and on forever about how i kept glancing across to the other side where she was (instead of focusing) so on and so forth :) :) :)

on friday i rushed to meet funny at clementi mrt station right after class (which ended late) !! then i changed into PJC netball tee which was like as long as my pyjamas (not that i wear pyjamases but). went to support RV basketball and they beat dunearn :)
apparently some people thought it was quite dangerous to go support because AES wanted to fight? whatever. nothing exciting happened anyw.
funny was a bit crazy supporting both schs/ cos RV's my sch and dunearn's her ex school.

then we went to queensway shopping centre to look for tumblers! and this is where the first lot of pictures come in.

so... saturday (aka today) i was late by half hour for health ambassador's thingy. did up the weird health notice board for 3L.
went to meet averil lavigne right after! then we brought xiaohui and rachel ho (happy birthday! :D :D :D) to island creamery. it's a bit saddening they didn't spam themselves with icecream. like, totally broke the binging legacy!
hahaha but overall the short time there was quite funny hahaha

then went to look for funny at her workplace (PS) cos it was her lunchbreak! like the third consecutive day i'm meeting her.
BUT I DO NOT HAVE FUNNY-FETISH OKAYI.
we traded goods. sounds a bit illegal.














because i was on a diet, i could only look while she ate.

minus the fact that i got back my chem results, tdy was awesome :)
spent the whole day with rafflesia (considering that i do sit beside her in class afterall) and we parted near 8PM.
were stuffing ourselves silly, but damn, it was insane fun.

i didnt go for training, but i didnt go get my muscles rubbed/massaged either.
went out with rafflesia instead and our first stop was island creamery at serene centre!
that seven days of (trying to abstain/) abstaining from all that sweet sugary and oily stuff (the dieting, basically) was in vain after all the the ice-cream we ate:
(arranged in order)

• 1 mudpie
• 1 scoop of apple pie ice-cream
• 1 scoop of reverseo ice-cream
• 1 scoop of cookies and cream ice-cream
• 1 scoop of strawberry sorbet
• 1 scoop of teh tarik ice-cream
• 1 scoop of yoghurt ice-cream

that's quite a lot of calories

then we got sick of all that creamy cold stuff so we walked (and laughed the whole way, "BLINK! BLINK! HAHHAHAHA") two roads across to adam's food centre whr we shared a bowl of the acclaimed prawn noodles.
good.
just, freakingg good hahahha.

had a drink. it was non-alcoholic btw hahahah sparkling ribena juice.

then we damn randomly headed to cold storage whr we walked many x 100000 rounds.
we asked the "fresh new person" (yknow colds storage, the fresh new people hhahaha) if they sold lubricant and i think that lady thought we were looking for that thing so it was rly embarrassing. blister lubricant luh! for the foot, not genitals
and we carried 2litre bottles of washing detergent around in a bid to toughen up our muscles. i dont know how to pen the experience across in words, because it was too damn hilarious

walked out empty handed.

frolicked (not exactly but anyw,) to another mini shopping centre (crown's if i'm noy wrong). explored the place a little (bookshop, toyshop, sweet shop) then we went to NTUC!
supermarkets are like our favourite place to be.
then got hungry (again) so we stopped by at one of the cafes/food stalls one level up and got ourselves a popiah to share.
i must say that they have rly delicious stuff thr (bukit timah/adam's road area/near ccab) !!!

last stop was 7-11! camwhored (i mean, we tried to) outside the place because they had an amazing sliding door that was very unlike all the other 7-11 outlet entrances we've seen thus far. took like one million pictures but i wasnt satisfied with a single one though i deleted them all hahahah.
the sky was still bright then.
after that we went in and camwhored (tried to) again! this time in a secluded corner without the disturbance of others interrupting our smile moments
i saved two pictures :)
out of twenty. hahahaha

couldnt go out without buying anything cos we made lots of noise and all, so we got a mash potato.

took bus 67 from a nearby bus stop. went on separate ways at CCK.

aaaaaaaaah all that food! plus tmr's run has been changed to a swim so everyone will like see my paunch/atrociously big thighs zomg
but well come to think of it, at least everything was shared :)

too good to be true, but it is TRUE

today is, by far, (one of) the happiest day of my life! although i'm not a teacher hahaha

first of all, had mass dance in the sch field and (most) netballers were all dancing tgt! we are class 23N :D

all for one, sun dance, hahaha it was all really enjoyable i love you guys. truly madly deeply

then yes team pic/cake cutting/screaming/hugging was all very nice luh

then went back to class for the partyyy and it was incredibly fun too! yeh my hair was screwed cos some very ungentlemenly self-proclaimed gentlemen (hahah namely teck chye, chun yuan, huakai) oiled my face/hair/arms with cream (from the cake)! oh wenting too. she took me by surprise hahaha

then had some kind of balloon fight etc. tseyin has awfully short hands hahaha she cant get the balloon out of my hand when i raised it at highest point! she was like grabbing me all over luh (zomg sounds wrong) hahaha

music was cool too!

oh but now the class stinks. reeks of a revolting mixture of cake + cream + oil + sweat and whatnots

there was A(ustralian)M(aths)C(ompetition) today and i really dont know where my mind was when i was doing it. i wouldnt be surprised if the results come back really badddddd

fish left soon after, and then we talked abt some freaking hilarious thingum which kristal refuses to let me post about !!! so you can sort of guess its more or less about her.

when Grace died, she brought lots of hearts - living, bleeding ones - with her to heaven. one of them belonged to me.

she was lying on the hospital bed. she was drifting away, she knew her time had come.
her once-beautiful black tresses had fallen off because of chemotherapy.
there she lay, her bald head covered by a woollen cap handmade by her grandmother.
i looked at her, my eyes welling up with tears of defeat.
she, who refused to wear a wig because she insisted on being 'real', took hold of my trembling hands.
a wave of calmness surged through my body.

"dont." she said.
i squeezed her hand and tilted my head backwards, my tears spilling over in the act.

"dont," she said again. "dont give up on me."

i was unable to look her in the eye. "i wont." i muttered. i didnt know who if it was her or myself i was convincing.

she pulled me closer. "you think i'll go. that's why you are crying."

"i'm.. sorry." i sobbed. it was true that i had lost all hope. i knew there was no light at the end of the tunnel.
i spent my last two months in the hospital with her. i had seen her eyes fill with agony.
i had seen her struggle with the intense treatment.

"you will remember me, wont you?" a playful smile swept across her face. then she laughed, her sound like a bell - melodious, lovely.
i tried to remember it, replaying it over and over again in my head.

"yes." i assured her.

"she who loves forever, lives forever." she whispered in my ear when i moved in for a hug.
after a blessed minute, i withdrew, much as i didnt want to.

"you should get going now. isnt your dad waiting downstairs?" she asked gently.
i nodded my head and swallowed the lump in my throat.
i walked unwilling to the door, every step a mile seeping between us.

"hey," i spun around. "goodbye."
much as we didnt want to admit it, we both knew it was our last goodbye.
she was about to say something when she choked in a sudden outburst of a coughing fit. Swiftly, she cupped her hand over her mouth. then she balled her hand into a fist.
finger by finger she opened it up, like it was a gift she was presenting to me.
thick red liquid was splattered all over her palm. it was blood. Grace coughed blood.

"no big deal. now go!" she instructed.
i took one last look at her, imprinting all her delicate features in my mind forever.

then i turned my back to her.
and i ran, taking along all our precious memories with me.
flashbacks: memories of us giggling in the changing room, laughing hysterically while trying on misfitting clothings;
us prank-calling the guys when we slept over at my place;
us gorging ourselves with ben and jerrys' during a sad movie;
and us eating our pizzas backwards after that.

i am still running, and i still hope to run into you one day.

Things which have gone up my nose:

1. Water from the swimming pool
   - way back when i was little, like six or something. but c'mon lah everyone has got this experience!
2. Spaghetti strands from Pasta Mania
   - and i tell you why it happened! trik was feeeeeding me like so much (or many strands) at a time and she reloaded my mouth so fast, it just sorta went up my nose. oh and i sneezed/blew it out (of my nose). big deal.
3. Cheese
   - this has got to do with trik too! cos me and liv were over at trik's and we were starving so we shared a slice of cheese. and then um, it just went up my nose. i blew them/it out too. and the smell didnt go away till days later it was awful.
4. Water
   - just minutes ago when i was drinking from my mug. it just did, okay?!

not bad sia, i think its been ages since i came to my grandma's house cos i just realised that they do have internet access after all! thrrreeeeeeee cheeeeerrrrrrrs
but then there's only like this one freaking laggggg laptop and everyone in the house queues to use it (and somehow i'm always last in the line grr).
anyw yes i am gonna stay here (at my grand's) for six days (oh die thats like so long) because my grandmommmm went to macau and she left her dearest dog in singapore, so we've gotta take care of it.
elmo (the silver mini schnauzer) is so very pampered he/it cant sleep anywhere else but here so the whole company (parental department + co-units) has to stay over.

went over to trik's house after training and boy am i terribly sorry for sorta um, pangsehing rae yeyun lois kristal (cos i didnt go to vivo in the end)
i'm sure those magnanimous people will forgive me/trik, yes yes yes.
watched like a few episodes of this super exciting hongkong serial (if i'm not wrong its called the best ever crime-fighters or something like that loh) and livia hyung joined us!
watched and watched and watched and we shared a slice of cheese.
thaaaat cheese went up my nose! and i blew it out!
(hahahah hyung the pastamania incidentttttt) it was really gross.
i can still smell that stench of the cheese (not that i mind now).
but its so strong i think it'll stay in there for the nexttt hundred days (okay i do mind can)!
ate (very late) dinner at her place.
livia says that zac (trik's eight year old brother) likes me but i beg to differrr.
sigh i think trik's maid/househelper is terribly rude to her and my oh my our dearest hyung does not deserve to be treated that way!

lubdub my hyungs are the coolest!

and so we wanted to go to KNC at first.
but then it was raining so very heavily and we werent sure if *ahem* was there.
in the end we headed down to CCAB/botanic gardens, supposedly for the change concert but there was a sports carnival/event so we went there instead.
it was freaking random lah. SEE!

hahah and we didnt know if any admission tickets were needed. we just like stepped into this whole um, space(?) and started laughing like crazy idiots. i mean, we didnt even know what the event was about! intruders sia.







i thought it was an elephant from afar (like very very far).

we even got three free cans of redbull!

there was cheap food but we had to cough out five bucks to buy the coupons or something.

this guy tucked in his shirt so freakinggg high, couldnt help but take three pictures of him. bet he thought he was cool.

okay that guy(in the black box)'s middle name is tall and he is kinda cool. he was wearing a catholic high jersey and quite pro luh.
the other guy(in the white box)'s middle name is taller. another catholic high giant. he was like doing all kinds of bball tricks/stunts, and all the while he was stealing glances at us! there was this thing he did - he held the ball with one hand and he started swinging that arm like a pendulum. however hard he tried to impress us (haha) he looked reallyyyy stupid doing that lor! and then he lifted up his shirt and i think there are like ten packs in there. thus, we nicknamed him the ten-pack clock! and cos he was like secretly looking at us, the hyungs dared me to do something. well i was supposed to like wink when he caught my eye and sort of like do this hand thing \m/ to my ear (as in ask for phone number lah) but walaoeh my reaction wasnt quick enough/bad timing on my part.
ahya but then again:
they were/are both really ugly.

um nice sky i suppose.

poor thing she looks lost.

anyway it was like a whole hour of almost non-stop laughing and i swear its been quite a long time since i had so so so so so much fun!
but it was like at all the people's expense um ahhaha.

well i love you hyungs for all the adventures (and misadventures) since day one! i kinda wish livia was with us though :(
