the first day of 2009 starts pretty hecticly

i sure hope it is going to be a very happening year! in a good way of course :)

so i spent my last few and first few hours of 2008 and 2009 respectively with the wonderful pencils! namely wenting claire tseyin huixian huakai jerome junyuan huakai and weijie.
we went to some boonlay CC's countdown event (hosts were mark lee and apple hong who apparently had problems conversing in english) and hady was thr to perform. i was hoping that he'd peform 'you give me wings' but he didnt :(
the mini fireworks display made up for it though! :D
anyw, i would like to thank 2B-PENCIL '08 for being the highlight of my second-half-of-the-year :D
if i could turn time back, i'd have gotten more involved with the class like, right from the start. but thing is, nothing right now can travel faster than the speed of light, and once past, the very hours, very seconds and very minutes do not come our way again. so i hope all the awesome awesome awesome pencils will stay as friends, forever (as cliche as it sounds).

as per tradition, the new year starts with making resolutions!
mine's 1024 x 768, what's yours? hahaha
okayi now on to serious business.

firstly, resolutions for today.

1. buy a bag for school-use tmr.
2. freaking get a book-list so i would know which books i have to buy.
3. buy school books.
4. complete a commonwealth essay.
5. pack my room. or at least half of it.
6. help my brother with his bag-packing.
7. negotiate with my parents on the confirmed weekly allowance for 2009 :)
8. stop feeling bitter! !@#$%^&*(
9. apologise to tanya.
10. webcam with cleo.
11. buy PE shirts and school skirt.
12. do homework selectively.
13. sleep early.
14. pray before sleeping.
    

now you understand the title of this post :)

i shall make my year resolutions another time. because if i do it now i wont take it seriously.

okayi and now a bit of update on youth camp! no pictures though.
so by the time i got thr on the 3rd day, the lessons were over! :(
i heard that i missed out on so so so so so much. i mean like, everyone was moved to tears.

i have like a total different perception of you now. you're a very very very strong girl.

surprise, surprise! i've just gotten home like half an hour ago!
yes you read it right. well it all started from ytd at about nine in the evening.

my retarded-ness made a decision on impulse to go to the farm site whr PP youth camp was being held. so i tagged along.
my dad fetched me and by eleven i was explaining (or at least, trying to, since i didnt really have an explanation) to everyone who had OMG SARAH WHAT YOU DOING HERE-ed.

i was supposed to be picked up at 12.30am. but the gate was locked so i couldnt get out!
dont tell me about climbing over fences cos that is what silly boys do.
i ended up sleeping in bernice's group's room cos thr was a spare bed.

anyw i'm going back to camp after the match against st. hilda's (geok's girls) :D
speaking of match, ... can i not cut my nails? can i can i can i? they're very pretty now!
and i cant watch sanjay get inked cos he changed his appointment with his tattooist and it clashes with match :(

i'll be in 3L next year and it seems to be a very happening class!
i wonder if it'll be anything like 2B. i miss us us us us us us us :(
it so happens that they allocated us by our sciences so trik's in the same class as i am.
ytd we were talking abt it and holy, it would be very funny to have her call me and say things like "sarah what must we bring tmr." or "eh what homework is thr?"
like, can you imagine?! hahaha
i set to make things right next year :)

i have been doing the most random things (with the most random people) ever. things i will not speak a word of.
it's weird. but it's my life, and i'm loving it, even when everything seems to crop up as untimely as it can get :)

12nn to 12am, dont think my saturday could have been spent any better!

we caught twilight at plaza, and we both think that it was okay what! the critics were too harsh with that 1.5/5 rating! okay maybe it'd have been a bit nonsensical and lame for those who didnt read twilight (and if you are one of them, boy you've missed out on so much goodness) but i mean, like, robert pattinson is so fking hot in that exotic way! and joan thinks carlisle (i forgot the actor's name) is the cutest guy on screen.
the only drawback's that half the time the two main leads were staring at each other in a very weird hostile and wary manner.
but still :)

after that was thrift-shopping at plaza and wisma!
for fifteen dollars she got a pair of flats (cotton on)
i bought gladiators which i will prolly modify cos they're now so common (cotton on), a chain necklace (F21), a dress from i dont know whr. for just fifty one dollars.
such steaaaals! :D

at abt 6.30pm we met up with her family and jeremy (not the tng one) and we went for steamboat dinner. which reminds me, i've ate two consecutive dinners with my friend's families! the day before ytd, i had peranakan dishes with kristal's.
okayi so after that was bowling till late :)

my hair is still killing me.

i dont usually blog like so early when the day is still young and unhappening, but here i am now.
this means that i am fking bored and i cant find booze to help me get by.

i think i sound grumpy, but i also think i have the rights to.

1. at about 4AM this morning paul (you idiot) called my house phone (thank goodness my parents were like momentarily deaf, either that or they were dead tired i suppose) and forced me to meet him at the 7-11 opposite. now usually i dont do things against my will but i make exceptions once in a while if you're rich, hot, or both. or nice. that works too.
   so i went downstairs and things happened and i lost my phone.

3. i'm having diarrhoea and it was so bad this morning i couldnt go for weights! so i prolly wouldnt be seeing netballers till 29 dec. so i didnt fulfil the task entrusted to me by yeyun :(
   
   
4. i am flying in four days! and all of a sudden i just want to stay put whr i am now. not in my bed, silly, in singapore.

so i finally saw the netballers ytd during the xmas party :)

thank goodness i wasnt so horribly laughed at till my self esteem took a big dip, but yeh still hate my bangs anyw. will update abt it (and spam pictures at the same time) soon! i hope.

prior to that, met up with TM for a short short while. saw MK at JP and yes i said hi (rather reluctantly cos i only did so due to peer pressure) despite my !@#$%^&* hideous hair i thought the most styleeeee teacher in RV would never have to see (and shudder at its horrendous sight).

then went to bugis junction whr i met the muscle pig (and trik too, for twenty mins) who was nice enough to buy me a cap slash hat even though he wasn't obliged to. tyvm i like it a lot :D

after like eight days (yknow it pretty much seemed like forever) i played on court again. against SJC.
netball.
seemed so foreign.

almost as if i had forgotten how to play entirely.
totally underperformed.
i hate it when i dont feel as if i'm in control of my own play.

anyw, i didnt bring my phone out with me this morning cos yeyun and i were in a rush!
i felt so uneasy the whole time!
it feels really x 10000 weird to not have your phone ring (or in my case, vibrate), to not have text messages to reply to, to not have to check for missed calls and all that.
i found myself subconsciously searching in my bag for that bulky samsung gadget, only to be suddenly hit by realisation that it's at home.
it was as if i was disconnected from the world.
i can't live without my phone. period.
